In TGSB, the curriculum has been so framed, that the individual child is the core of the whole program. An atmosphere of the relaxed, easy human relationship between the children and the teachers pervades the classroom. The children are encouraged to get involved in the exciting adventure of learning experience through discussion, inquiry, and experimentation. Based on the above Principles the classroom is redesigned at TGSB:

At TGSB the well being of our students is of utmost importance. With an infirmary within the school premises, we are able to provide quick medical assistance on time to students and staff members to maximize the general health and wellness. The school Infirmary is equipped with beds and all the necessary equipment and facilities to address the immediate health needs while in school.

In the event of an emergency requiring medical attention, the student will be shifted to the nearest hospital, and parents will be informed of the same. A comprehensive medical record of each student is maintained by the school nurse. Basic first-aid kits have been made available in high-risk areas such as the laboratories as well as on the school buses.

Regular health checkups are conducted; the reports are maintained and shared with the parents periodically. The school vehicles are available to provide immediate assistance in case of emergencies.

DOCTORS ON BOARD :

We have Dr. Thyagaraj & Dr. Usha Thyagaraj (Pushpa Nursing Home, Whitefield) as doctors on board with the school to take care of any medical emergencies of the children.

Dr. Gayathri (Existing TBS Parent) does the medical check-up of the kids at regular intervals year-round.

A dental check-up is also done by Ms. Aparna Metta who is a dentist by profession.(Existing TBS Parent)

Experiential learning is constructivist learning, where students are active learners, constructing their own knowledge, rather than observing the demonstrative behavior of a teacher.
